HAZARD SHIRT NUMBER DILEMA

Former Chelsea star, Eden Hazard, who just signed a 5-year deal with Spanish giant, Real Madrid, might just be having a problem-his favorite No.10 shirt is already taken. Hazard has worn the No.10 shirt for both Chelsea and Belgium for a number of years, but Luka Modric has that number at Los Blancos. Real Madrid, however are already working on the Belgian's presentation at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu; one that will generate huge interest and lots of fans. The only number currently available in the first team squad is No. 16. The particular shirt doesn't have any link to any famous names in Real Madrid's history, nor does it have any relation to Hazard himself. Let's see how this one goes!!!

USA Beat Thailand at the ongoing Women World Cup by the highest goal merging ever in the competition.

The United States, has expected by many to impress, posted it's biggest victory ever at the Women World Cup on Tuesday night,opening the defense of it's 2015 title with a 13-0 annihilation of a definitely outplayed Thailand in Reims, France. It has the largest margin of victory ever at the World Cup, and the most goals scored in a single World Cup match. The Americans out shot Thailand, 39-2. Alex Morgan,later announced as the player of the match, scored five goals,tying a team record, and Rose Lavelle and Sam Mewis each had two. Lindsey Horan, Megan Rapinoe, Maluory Pugh and Carli Lloyd-two minute into second-half injury time-completed the rout. But the flurry of goals also was a stunning display of the attacking force the United States can bring to bear. The goals came early (two in the first 20 minutes),in bunches (three in one six-minute span early in the second half) and late (five after the 79th minute). This is definitely a perfect start for the defending champions!!!!!!

As Roma appointed former Shakhtar Donetsk Manager, Paulo Fonseca as their new Manager.

Italian giant As Roma have officially found their replacement for Claudio Rainieri in the bench at the Stadio Olimpico: Paulo Fonseca, who arrives from Shakhtar Donetsk. Here is the club's official statement on the arrival of the Portuguese Manager: "The 46-year-old has agreed to take the reins at the Giallorossi ahead of the start of the new season,on an initial two-year contract. An optional third year could extend the deal until the summer of 2022". Italian side, Inter Milan, also appointed former Chelsea coach,Antonio Conte, as their new manager earlier this month. The 2019/2020 season is definitely going to be exciting at the Serie-A, isn't it?! 

Ajax manager Erik ten Hag tipped to take over from sarri at chelsea.

The blues look set to be searching for a new boss for the second consecutive summer,with maurizio sarri most likely on his way to the Italian side,juventus, after winning the Europa league in his first season at Stamford Bridge. French football journalist Julien Laurens strongly believes Ten Hag would be an ideal fit for the club. He led Ajax to a domestic to a domestic double and to the Champions League semi-final,where they came seconds from reaching the final-before conceding a heartbreaking last-minute goal against Tottenham Hotspur.  Ten Hag also helped develop a number of young first-team players, most notably Frenkie de Jong and Matthijs de Ligt. Speaking to Natalie Sawyer on talkSPORT, Laurens said: "It's a huge summer for Chelsea". "It's a key time to decide what direction they go in this summer and with who they go into that new direction with." "I think sarri will go to Juventus,so the new Manager will be massive. Canada are off to a flying start in the 2019 Women's World Cup

  Canada broke through a determined Cameroon defence on the brink of half time, thanks to a wonderful header by defender,Kadeisha Buchanan,to win the Women's World Cup group e opener 1-0 in Montepellier on Monday. Canada dominated possession and heavily outclassed Cameroon but only breached the defence once from a well-rehearsed corner. Defender kadeisha Buchanan,later named the player of the match,arrived late to head in unchallenged. The other two teams in the group, Netherlands and New Zealand, meet in Havre on Tuesday.

Christiano Ronaldo's Portugal wins the inaugural UEFA nations league

Portugal,the UEFA nations league host,battled it out with Netherlands in the UEFA nations league final which went down at the Estadio do Drago stadium in Portugal on Sunday night, June 9th 2019. Goncalo Guedes strike at the 60th minute of the game ensured the better team,portugal,win the first ever UEFA nations league trophy.   The Portugal's team captain, Christiano Ronaldo, was all smiles as he lifted his second trophy with his national team. The first being the euro 2016. England also sealed their third place in the tournament against Switzerland,the match which went down hours before the final after a disappointing loss to Netherlands in the semis.

Nigeria Women's National football team lost first game at the 2019 Women's World Cup

The Nigeria super falcons lost 3-0 to their counterparts from Norway in their first game at the ongoing 2019 FIFA women's World Cup on Saturday night, June 8th,2019. Goals from Chelsea women's new player Guro Reiten, Lisa-Marie Utland and the super falcons player Ohale(own goal) gave the Norway women side a huge advantage going into the break. There were no goals in the second half, even though Thomas Dennarby(the super falcons coach)'s girls tried their best to have the ball at the back of Norway's net. Nigeria will face Korea republic in their next game on June 12,knowing that another defeat will result in early elimination from the tournament.
